Some EdgeRift extras include macOS screensavers. Follow these steps to install one.
Step 1: Download the Screensaver
Visit our Extras page and download the screensaver you want. The file (.saver) will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Install the Screensaver
Double-click the downloaded .saver file. macOS will ask if you want to install it for just yourself or all users. Choose your preference and click Install.
Step 3: Open System Settings
Go to Apple menu → System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions) → Screen Saver. You will find the newly installed screensaver in the list.
Step 4: Select and Configure
Click on the screensaver to select it. You can preview it and adjust any available options. Set your preferred start time and you are done!
Security Note: If macOS blocks the installation, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway” next to the blocked screensaver message.
