Real Solitaire Deluxe for macOS

What game modes are available?

Draw modes, shuffle options, Daily Challenge, and timed play

Draw One vs Draw Three

Real Solitaire Deluxe offers two draw modes, configurable in Settings:

  • Draw One: Flips one card from the stock at a time. You have access to every card in the stock, making the game easier with a win rate of roughly 30–40%.
  • Draw Three: Flips three cards at a time, but only the top card is playable. This is significantly harder, with a win rate of roughly 10–15%. Every decision matters because you can only play every third card.

Starting a New Game

Press ⌘N or choose Game > New Game to open the New Game window. You can choose from the following options:

  • Daily Challenge: A unique deal available each day. Every player gets the same shuffle, so you can compare your results.
  • Random Shuffle: A standard randomly shuffled game. Each deal is different.
  • Winnable Game: A deal that is guaranteed to be solvable. A great way to practice your strategy without worrying about unsolvable shuffles.
  • Restart This Game: Replays the current deal from the beginning with the same card order. Useful when you want to try a different strategy on the same shuffle.

Timed vs Untimed

You can enable or disable the game timer in Settings. In timed games with Standard scoring, 2 points are deducted every 10 seconds, but a winning bonus is awarded based on how quickly you finish. The bonus is calculated as 700,000 divided by the number of seconds to finish.
