The solver analyzes possible future moves based on the current game state. When enabled, it can warn you when a game appears to be unwinnable.
Because the number of possible move sequences can grow quickly, the solver has to work within the performance and memory limits of your device. In complex positions, it may only be able to search a limited number of moves ahead. That means the solver is best understood as a helpful estimate, not a perfect prediction.
